New Starters 2020

Welcome to Waterbeach Community Primary School!

We are delighted that your child has been offered a place at Waterbeach Community Primary School, starting in September.

It has been great to see so many of you as you have visited school to collect your child's induction pack. If you haven't done so already, please call the office on 01223 718988 to arrange a time as soon as possible to collect this. We request that you bring with you original copies of your child's full birth certificate showing parental responsibility, and a proof of address.

Our 'New Intake Parent Presentation' will be available for you to watch from 9am on Thursday 18th June. You can find this on our YouTube channel by following this link the presentation is about 45 minutes long.

Amongst other key information, it will explain the contents of the induction pack and so it is important that you have it in your possession as you watch the presentation.

There will also be a virtual tour of the Foundation Stage environment available to watch from 9am on Thursday 18th June which you can find using this link We recommend you watch this a few times with your child and over the summer. You could also complete the 'Virtual Tour Scavenger Hunt' which can be found below.

We hope you find the information provided is helpful and reassuring as your child embarks on their school journey.

Please also visit out EYFS story time playlist on our YouTube to hear some of the staff reading some of our favourite stories.

We really look forward to meeting you and your child soon.
