Maths Numberline Works

The children have been working very hard together to place numbers on an empty numberline.  They need to first decide on the scale of the numberline, then which numbers they know, for instance, half way.  They then continue to add in other numbers that they know the places for before making a good estimate on placing their key number.  

The children were using their learning partners or groups to help them succeed in this task which involved a lot of discussion and cooperation.
